Michel Dufour, an engineer with a love of sailing, founded his shipyard in La Rochelle, France, in 1964.  In 2004 Dufour Yachts celebrated four decades of passion, experience, technology and design. These 40 years span the history of modern sailing.  But there's more to come ...the future is a sea of opportunity for Dufour Yachts; a company with the wind in its sails.
